Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is projected to become the world's first trillionaire by 2027, according to a report by Informa Connect Academy. His wealth is reportedly increasing at an average annual rate of approximately 110%.

As of September 2024, Musk's wealth was valued at approximately $265 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Tesla, the vehicle manufacturer he leads, is valued at roughly $670 billion, with rapid growth suggesting it could surpass a trillion-dollar valuation by 2025, as highlighted in the Informa Connect Academy report.

Despite being the richest person, Musk lives a modest lifestyle. He resides in a tiny prefabricated house called the Boxabl Casita, located near SpaceX's Boca Chica launch site. The home measures just 375 square feet and costs around $50,000.
Notably, Musk sold several properties, including California mansions worth over $100 million, opting for a more minimalistic lifestyle. In 2020, Walter Isaacson, the biographer of Steve Jobs, shared a post on X, describing Musk's two-bedroom house as spartan and functional.

Musk’s decision to downsize reflects his belief in freedom (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phone), as he stated when announcing the sale of his physical possessions.
