Trump's Tesla Troubles: From Support to Sale Amid Feud with Musk


Just under three months ago, President Donald Trump

showcased his support for Elon Musk by purchasing a red 

Tesla Model S during a public event at the White House. 

However, following a dramatic fallout between the 

two, Trump is now contemplating selling or giving away the

 vehicle, which has a list price of about $80,000.


The feud escalated recently when Musk criticized Trump's 

"big, beautiful" tax bill, prompting Trump to label Musk as 

"crazy" and suggest cutting his government subsidies. This 

public spat has had significant repercussions, causing 

Tesla's stock to plummet by 14% in one day, erasing $138 

billion from the company's valuation.

As the relationship between Trump and Musk deteriorates, 

the resale value of used Teslas, including the Model S, has 

been declining sharply. If Trump decides to sell, he may need 

to act quickly to avoid further losses in value.
